Since this month, Marit has joined us as our new online marketing intern. Over the next six months, she will fully immerse herself in the world of online marketing, from SEO and SEA to content marketing. Read this blog to learn more about Marit!
Hi! My name is Marit, I’m 22 years old, and I’m currently in my third year of the Communication and Multimedia Design program at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. I study a bit up north, in Groningen! I live in a cozy student apartment right in the city center.
Every week, you can find me in a small village near Groningen for competition training. My dance team competes every two weeks across the Netherlands! Besides that, I also work at Rituals. And in the free time I have left, I love catching up with friends over coffee or dinner.
As part of my studies, I took an elective course focused on online marketing. I found this field of marketing really interesting and wanted to expand my knowledge for the future. When it was time to find an internship, I got in touch with this digital agency through my network, and it turned out to be a great fit with my current project. With enthusiasm from both sides, we quickly started this exciting collaboration!
During my internship, I will be working across various disciplines within digital marketing. I’ll dive into content marketing, SEO, and SEA. By combining theory with hands-on experience, I hope to discover where my true interests in online marketing lie.
Design is something I’m truly passionate about. When faced with a challenge, I often immediately visualize a solution, which I then bring to life creatively. Canva is my best friend—because let’s be honest, everyone loves a beautiful visual!
Since I live in the heart of Groningen, I love hanging out with friends in the lively Poelestraat. But I also enjoy relaxing at home on the couch with a good episode of Criminal Minds.
In five years, I see myself working in a field I’m truly passionate about. I’m keeping my options open for now because there’s still so much to explore in online marketing. But I’m definitely excited to dive into all these opportunities after earning my degree.
