Orange Juice has developed not only a user-friendly website for Ploeg kozijnen but also an online selection guide and an advanced configurator. This enables Ploeg kozijnen to provide customers with information and assist them in all stages of the customer journey regarding the purchase of PVC windows.

Purchasing PVC windows is complex for many consumers. It involves a significant investment in a home, and there are many choices to make regarding home style, color, finish, insulation, security, and glazing.

Ploeg kozijnen is accustomed to communicating from a supply and production technique perspective: "Look at what we can offer." The challenge within this online project was to combine these two worlds, highlighting Ploeg's quality and service while simultaneously reducing consumer decision stress.

Combining an appealing and professional website with an online configurator makes the online orientation process for purchasing easier and more user-friendly. The goal is for customers to start independently, gain confidence in Ploeg kozijnen's service, and then quickly contact Ploeg's experts for further steps.

Initially, Ploeg kozijnen sought a partner to develop a professional Umbraco website that is also SEO optimized. Later, a selection guide and a configurator were added. In collaboration with Maxlead, an advanced GA4 implementation was achieved, with significant attention given to search engine optimization (SEO).

Since 1980, Ploeg kozijnen has been a leading name in PVC windows. At their production site in Nieuw-Vennep, one of the most modern in the Netherlands, products are custom-made for customers. Ploeg specializes in supplying both the private and business markets for renovation and new construction. For private customers, installation is provided by in-house teams. They also have a separate department focused on large-scale construction projects.

User experience central

When developing the configurator, it was essential to focus on the user experience. Instead of an endless list of technical specifications, the emphasis was on considerations important to the end customer, such as installation, delivery times, and an initial price indication. Transparency, convenience, and relieving the customer's concerns were paramount.

The consumer gets a good first impression with the online selection guide and configurator and can then decide on the next step, such as visiting the showroom or measuring on-site. The configurator plays an important role in the orientation phase and serves as a stepping stone to contacting Ploeg's experts.

In the advanced configurator, customers have complete freedom to customize PVC windows to their liking. Our goal is to continually expand the possibilities, so soon it will even be possible to configure sliding doors and dormer windows. Since 2020, Orange Juice has maintained a sustainable partnership with Ploeg kozijnen, with many projects on the roadmap.

Orange Juice is very good at understanding the end customer. Not everything that is important to you as an organization is a valuable addition to a configurator.
