Junior back-end developer

As a junior back-end developer at Orange Juice, you will be involved in developing webshops and advanced web applications using an agile approach. As a full-fledged team member, you will communicate with the client alongside the team to achieve the best results. You will independently take on tasks and review the results of team members, standing by the results as a team. With the provided guidelines and constraints, you will maximize business value for both the client and Orange Juice. 
 
You will focus on your own development while also taking the initiative to stay updated on the latest developments in the field, continuously working with colleagues to innovate Orange Juice's solutions.

What do you bring?

  • A completed HBO degree in Computer Science; 
  • A keen interest in learning and staying up-to-date with web development trends; 
  • Solid knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL; 
  • Experience with the Microsoft .NET framework, Core, MVC, and Entity Framework; 
  • Accuracy and a strong sense of responsibility; 
  • Enjoyment in working within a team, while also being eager to independently come up with solutions and share them with colleagues; 
  • And importantly... a good sense of humor, because work should be fun. 

Additionally, it's useful to know that we work with tools such as Visual Studio, Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket, and Bamboo. Our solutions often use Umbraco as a content management system. 

What do we offer you?

  • A full-time (40 hours) position (minimum 32 hours) with hybrid working options and flexible hours. We value a good work-life balance!;

  • A gross monthly salary between €2.400,- (entry-level junior) and €3.000,- (max junior scale). Salary is based on your work experience;
