Business Development Manager

Do you thrive on building strong client relationships and driving digital growth?
At digital agency Orange Juice, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (min. 32 hours per week) who helps clients with smart, tailor-made digital solutions in a personal, creative, and strategic way. No cold calling here, but consultative selling: you listen, dig deeper, and connect client challenges with the expertise of our team.

As the link between our clients and our multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, and online marketers, you translate client needs into clear solutions in custom e-commerce, configurators, and online marketing. That way, you not only build long-term relationships, but also contribute directly to the growth of both our clients and Orange Juice.

Nina Faber Aan Het Werk

What will you do?

  • Generating new business by proactively approaching leads and prospects, based on incoming inquiries and data from our CRM system and Leadinfo.

  • Maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships by offering tailored advice.

  • Identifying opportunities and translating client needs into digital solutions.

  • Collaborating with developers, designers, and marketers to present the best possible solutions to clients.

  • Increasing market visibility by attending networking events and business clubs.

  • Optimizing internal sales processes and contributing to a more structured approach.

  • Working closely with the CEO, with plenty of freedom to take initiative and report directly to him.

What do you bring?

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree level (HBO or equivalent).

  • Ideally 2–3 years of experience in consultative selling, and you know how to translate client challenges into digital solutions.

  • Preferably knowledge of, and at the very least interest in, e-commerce and the services we offer at Orange Juice.

  • You’re commercial, professional, approachable, and a great listener — making you a valuable discussion partner at different levels, both internally and externally.

  • You have a proactive, results-driven, and curious mindset. You're a connector who knows exactly when to act.

  • You’re organized and work independently, but just as importantly: you’re a team player. Even in your independent role, you’re an active part of #TeamOrangeJuice and seek out connection with colleagues.

What do we offer you?

  • A challenging role for at least 32 hours a week, with hybrid work options and flexible hours. We highly value a healthy work-life balance.

  • A beautiful office in the heart of Arnhem, easily accessible by car, public transport, or bike.

  • A competitive salary based on your experience and aligned with our internal salary structure.

  • A responsible, dynamic, and varied position with plenty of room for personal growth — we call it Orange Boost Performance.

  • An informal work environment with enthusiastic colleagues.

  • Great employee benefits, including a pension plan, profit-sharing, and our unique “Orange Boost Yourself” budget — up to €700 per year to invest in sustainability, wellness, personal or creative development — plus a daily catered lunch.
